Ethan's Baptism

A few years ago, Neil and I were living in Missoula and I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed.  My mother generously offered to come up and help with the kids while I recovered and Neil attended law school.  One day while I was recovering, my mother took the kids to the park.  When she came back, she shared a nice story with me.  It seems that while she was at the park, another grandmother was there.  This other grandma kept watching Ethan play.  Finally this woman approached my mother and pointed to Ethan and said, "Does his mother know how lucky she is?"  My mother said, "What do you mean?"  and the woman told her about her grandson.  She said that a few years before she had a grandson who died.  She said that her grandson was a sweet little boy and every once in a while she sees a boy who reminds her of her grandson.  Ethan reminded her of her grandson.  So she told my mother to tell me that I was lucky.  I've always remembered that story.  So on the occasion of Ethan's baptism I want everyone, but especially Ethan and my Father in Heaven to know that YES, I do know how lucky I am!  We love you Ethan, very much!

Congratulations to our cute boy Ethan on his decision to be baptized.  It was a great day and I'm grateful for our wonderful family who was there to support us.  Thank you to everyone who helped with the program and the BBQ afterward.

The three Arnons.  Grandma Susan gave a wonderful talk about baptism
including the importance of the names we take upon us.

Ethan looked great in his new suit. He thinks it's the greatest thing in the world.

Our "New?" Piano

Neil was recently offered a piano for free, so we gladly accepted.  It's really old and really heavy but I'm excited to have it anyway.   Here are a couple of pictures.

Not sure there is enough room in our little living room for this but it's here now and too heavy to move.  Now to have it tuned and a few repairs.
